Shoebox Swap Cards

Recently, I took part in a Shoebox Swap.

What is a Shoebox Swap?  Basically it means that we create a couple cards and prepare the material for other people to make the same card too. All the supplies to make the cards should fit into a shoebox.  We then rotate around a table and create the cards that others have created.  It's a fun way to try out some new product or get some new ideas.

Here are the two cards I designed for this particular Shoebox Swap:

Big bear from "Bearing Gifts" and little bear from "White Christmas"  Lucky Stars embossing folder for the background on Smokey Slate grey cardstock. The base is Basic Black. I also used the All Is Calm washi tape for the banner and tiny pearls to make snowflakes.

Here I used the On-Point embossing folder, Festival of Trees stamp set (sentiment), Tree Punch, Trim the Tree DSP paper stack, silver metallic baker twine, word window punch, modern label punch, circles collection die.  Cardstock is Very Vanilla and Early Espresso.

Here are the other cards I made that the rest of the participants created for the swap.

It was a fun way to spend time creating. Hope you've enjoyed taking a look!

That little bear and big bear in your wonderful card have a special significance. Love that card especially, Ter. The others are very nice, but it's my favourite.
