Emma over came her fear of the basement stairs and looks so proud of herself! |
We adopted Emma in 2007, and since then she has been afraid to go down into the basement. (note: she's not afraid of other people's basements!) Many attempts have occurred, especially once I turned the basement into my craft space.
Today, finally, I was able to get her to overcome her fear! We went up and down the stairs a few times together but then she did it on her own. I hope this means she'll come keep me company when I'm crafting!

YAY!!!!!! That's so great!!! My devoted little boopies keep me company in my craft room too. And always seem to know when I'm at a critical point where I need to use both hands to decide to paw at me for pets and attention!
awww..Emma looks so proud of herself for her accomplishment! :) Good for her and you for persevering! On another note - your Open House pictures look great, and I love your new page Header, Terri! Thanks for sharing.
So glad she has took the leap of faith to join you.
Hurrah for Emma and hurrah for you! Now you'll have company down in your crafting centre and perhaps Emma will even prove to be helpful. How is she at choosing colours and embellishments? Seriously, Ter, I am so glad the day finally came.
That's just wonderful - for both of you! Love the new look on your blog. Your samples are inspiring.
Hurray Emma...and congratulations Ter. It must be a relief to both of you to get her past her fear. A real milestone and I'm sure possible because of the love you obviously have for each other. Now lets hope she doesn't get too comfortable and start thinking your tools are her toys. Hm...ask me how I know about that transformation of a beloved pet. LOL.
