The Watercooler Challenge blog is all about bringing a variety of ways to inspire our creative self. Every two weeks a new challenge is posted. This week the challenge is a sketch. Each of the Watercooler Artists have created a card using the following sketch:
It is a really simple sketch but we all have our own interpretation of the sketch. Here's mine:
The colors I have used here are Pool Party and Strawberry Slush. The names of those colors make me think of Summer, which has finally arrived.
I used the stamp set Work of Art again. As you can see it is a really diverse stamp set and can be used in many ways. The sentiment is done with Teeny Tiny Wishes. I used the Bitty Butterfly punch as well as the Modern Label and Word Window punches. I put pearls on the butterfly and used the Pool Party Baker's Twine to embellish it. I also sponged the edges of the whisper white cardstock with Pool Party ink to give it a softer look.
I look forward to seeing your versions of the sketch. Please check out the Watercooler Challenges Blog and post your creations there before the challenge is over and to see what others have made.

Lovely card Terri. Beautiful in it's simplicity.
Ter, thanks for all your hard work in putting this challenge together. It's been fun. Your card is ter(rific). (Had to do that.) The Work of Art stamp set has to be tops this year. The way you've used it is stunning.
Wonderful card, Terri. The colors are very summery, and I really like how you used Work of Art with the punched butterflies.
Love this simple but effective design with a cool new stamp set Miss Ter. I'll have to add it to my collection of showcase cards for Work of Art.
